RecordPad is a sound recording program for Windows PCs. Using RecordPad, you can quickly and easily record audio notes, messages, or annoucements to your computer in either wav of mp3 file formats. RecordPad is intuitive and easy to use. Within minutes, you will be able to start an audio recording, save it, and replay the file. Audio recording has never been easier.

RecordPad is perfect for voice recordings, such as, recording speeches, messages and sermons. Use it to record sounds, such as, general noises, special effects and everyday sound. Or, record music, lyrics, notes and tunes.

RecordPad can record voice, notes, music or any other audio. Save your recordings in wav or mp3. MPEG Layer-3 encoding offers contant of variable bit rates from 8 to 320kbps with optional crc error checking and joint stereo modes. Wave encoding at sample rates between 6,000 and 196,000Hz in PCM or many other codecs and bits.

Record files in the background while running other programs. Designed to be simple and robust for professional and corporate recording applications. Fully integrates with WavePad Professional Sound Editor to edit recordings and add effects.
